Natural baked goods

Because of the nonprofit status of the Oconee Farmers' Market, we are able to offer pastries to our customers there. We do so on a pre-order basis (although occasionally we'll get a wild hair and bake something up to sell the next morning – you can never tell!). It’s the best way we know to offer maximum variety, quality, and freshness with minimum waste.

Here’s how it works: Fill out an order form at the regular Saturday morning farmers’ market. Hand the form to Jamie, who will collect 50% of the payment up front and give you the top portion of the page as a receipt. Then she’ll bring your pastry the following week and collect the balance of the payment when you pick it up.

On your pickup date, please try to arrive before 10 am. If it gets to be 10 and Jamie hasn’t seen you, she’ll call you. If  you don’t show up by 11:30 or our chosen closing time (whichever comes last), you will forfeit your deposit and we will eat your pastry.

We can accommodate some special dietary needs. For instance, we can make our pie crusts, fruit pies, and pie fries vegan upon request because they are based on organic palm oil shortening. However, we can’t veganize recipes that depend on eggs, butter, or yogurt for their flavor and consistency. Also, because we believe strongly that natural foods are the best foods, we do not use any artificial sweeteners in our baked goods.

Here's what we've got:
